| My Rediscovery Series exhibited during 'Flesh'. Flesh celebrated the physicality and sensuality of the human body. Artists were invited to submit work that confronted the many meanings of flesh and challenged the socially imposed taboos. My particular offering was in protest against the pressure women often have in modern life to be perfect in their many roles and to look the perfect way. These paintings are a reaction against negativity and self doubt when perfection cannot be reached. |
