We have had such an exciting and varied term in our Seasons Arts Classes this Autumn. Our returning students have have covered drawing skills, pastel paintings, watercolour painting and acrylic painting. Projects have been inspired by Van Gogh's Sunflowers and Leonardo da Vinci's sketchbooks and his anatomical drawings. As well as the more traditional projects such as still lives and figure drawing we looked at graphic design and the use of geometric shapes and patterns taking inspiration from the Rubik's cube and Bridget Riley. Lastly guest tutor Tracy Gilchrist devised a project creating a still life from each artists favourite shoes inviting the artists use personal objects to share a little of themselves.
